A Germany‑wide, non‑party and non‑denominational pro‑life association that advocates the unconditional right to life of every human being, born and unborn, in all phases of life.

It  is Germany’s largest pro‑life organization. ALfA provides concrete help for pregnant women and families in difficult situations through counseling, financial and material support, and various aid programs, and it informs the public through educational work, publications, and events. Its youth organization “Jugend für das Leben” (Youth for Life) is particularly active in peer teaching in schools and outreach activities.
